I’ve never tried water fasting, but I have thought about it. I worry about getting too cranky without food.

I advise you to do some research, perhaps read a few books or articles on the topic. I would have never considered water fasting before reading “How and When to Be Your Own Doctor” by Dr. Isabelle A. Moser and Steve Solomon. The benefits of water fasting are tremendous, and my grandfather who suffers of diabetes and poor heart condition was just recently advised to go on one by his doctor.

You can try a Raw Food Diet Fast if you think going without food is unbearable. Hope this helped!
